Actions Log From October 14 to November 12, 2010

It has been a very busy 4 weeks since our last update on our Actions Log. Just two days ago we moved in furnishings for two different clients of two different shelters. The last 3-4 clients have been people in apartments with zero furnishings. As we were able to respond and care for several clients over the past 6 months we were also depleted temporarily of supplies and furnishings. Currently, we are re-stocking our warehouse fairly well.

We are in the process of working on three single parented families getting moved into their new residences. Two of these families are coming out of domestic violence environments and into new beginnings.

Also, as we approach the holidays we are working on our annual Thanksgiving Outreach to the Silver Meadows Neighborhood. This is followed by our annual Bear-ry Christmas Outreach(teddy bear give away on Christmas Eve) and our involvement with Adopt-A-Family for families in need of Christmas Gifts that are staying in the shelters or have been recently moved out.

Our work has been steady and constant.
